Christmas Album

It seems that the list of possible album ideas for December is flying around cyber space. My friend has added some ideas for documenting December on her blog.

I am doing good to get my project life album completed these days. I will have to look at my options and basically come up with my own idea of combining all the great ideas into one fabulous plan.

November is the month to really stop and think about what one is thankful for....

Oatmeal Cookies

I found this recipe from www.melskitchencafe.com for Oatmeal Coconut Chewies....YUM! They are really good. They only lasted 3 days!

They are easy to make and you really can not taste the coconut.

New Recipe

Last night I tried a new recipe from a blog called "The Pioneer Women" she has tons of great ideas. The one I made was the Cajun chicken pasta. I changed it up a bit, no bell peppers and I did not have any Cajun seasoning so I just added what I had in the spice rake. It was really good.
I recommend using Roma Tomatoes as regular one have too much water in them.
I was so tired I forgot to take a photo of the finish product but it really did look like hers!

Holidays

Now its time to get the turkey cooked and get ready for the crazy day after shoppers.

I never get out of the house on the day after Thanksgiving. 

There is nothing that will make me get out of bed at 3 AM???

Jacksonville

The first part of October I attended a week long residency. 

The plane ride was nice and quick. Clear skies

I have been trying to caught up ever since I got back :)

October flew by!!

Where did October go? I can not believe we are looking at Thanksgiving plans?!?!?!?!

The chickens are doing great finding about 10 eggs a day. But I heard that they may slow down with winter coming. I did get to see the geese fly south yesterday. It was cool.

Hopefully I will do better this month with the blogging. Things are crazy busy with school, chickens and just keeping up with life!
